I know the bit where it joins the Severn is a known area, but I crossed what I think was the Salwarp at Droitwich.

I was on my wat to the M5 via kiddy, and crossed over a small stream, which looked ideal for Chub.

Just interested as to who might control the river here?

Also, while Google earthing it, I noticed a good sized lake that seems to be called &quot;Great Pool&quot;, not too far away.

Anyone know anything about it?

Lost a couple of Chub, one to a hook pull and another in a snag, and pulled out of a Barbel after a few seconds.

mine to cope with the bigger than average Severn flood. This is the &#39;small&#39; one weighing in at around 16oz. Takes around 1/2 kilo groundbait a go. Have
found using 14lb test curve rod to be just about ok or a &#39;good&#39; uptide rod.
