I have been posting river info fairly regularly on this site since it was first up and running, but now I notice a distinct lack of input by any of the other members. The last post by anyone elso was possibly months ago!
I wondered if anyone still uses this website? and if so why are you not posting anything? Is it because there are too many other websites? or do you not have the time? After all you will only get out what you put in.

My brother told me about this site http://www.carpioleads.co.uk/ , leads are really cheap(compared to shop bought). I've ordered a selection of leads and I'll post a review when they arrive. Has anyone else used these leads if so any comment would be good. They're based just off junction 10 of the M6 so if you live locally collection in person is available to cut down on postage...

Well after a good start to the season this weekend brought me back to Earth with a bump. I was on the bank at Hampton Loade for 5am Saturday and fished till 3 o'clock that afternoon with only 2 fish to show for about 3 miles of walking, the river rose about 7 inches during the day and also coloured up and looked good for a net full but it wasn't to be, time for a trip to the chippy and on to the Teme. Managed to get some of Spa baits 'the waka' boilies last year from Mal Storeys with some descent result for both river and still water only trouble is I'm now running low and can't find them anywhere, anyone know where I could get some from without going down the mail delivery road? Cheers

Having seen one in use on the Severn on the new Robb/Morgan video to find depths/features etc, I was quite impressed, as it was so much quicker than using a plumbing rod.

The local council are looking at banning angling in Bewdley town centre due to a complaint from the lady who runs the swan sanctuary at Worcester, who has said that Swan are suffering lead poisoning.

Now we all know that lead shot, other than "dust shot", has been illegal for a number of years, and I cant for one second think that many people use dust shot on the Middle Severn.
Most use big leads or feeders.

As most of you who have tried to view the web cam will know that is has been out of action since 18th April.

I've emailed the council a couple of times, with no response, so I decided to try a phone call.

I first got through to a rather bewildered lady at customer services, who at first thought I was referring to the CCTV on the car-parks.
I did eventually get the number for the correct department, and had a nice little chat with the IT guy who is responsible for...
